The Kinkajou Bottle Cutter Review!

If your a crafter, want to start doing crafty activities or just so happen to know someone who loves crafts. You’ll defiantly want to check out the Kinkajou, this gadget is a cool way to turn those empty beer or wine bottles into something useful. So be creative and you’ll discover new ways to turn your trash into art, useful items around the house or some cute gifts. Like for this holiday season collect your family/friends favorite drinks and for an inexpensive gift create a drinking glass set. Or for those into gardening create some little plant terrariums. There’s literally so much you can do and if for some reason you do run out of ideas, just visit the Kinkajou website for more project ideas.

How does the Kinkajou work? Well its a bottle cutter that scores a line around the bottle where you wish to cut. Then using boiling water to pour around the score line, then pour with cold water and repeat. It should only take 1-2 cycles to separate the glass. Next sand with wet sand paper to smooth out your new glass.

The Kinkajou does however take time and practice to get the hang of. As a first timer I’ve cut multiple glasses where I added to much or to little pressure and my score line doesn’t line up evenly with my starting point. Or my water used isn’t hot or cold enough so it takes a couple of cycles for the glass to break. Or the glass doesn’t want to corporate at all and cracks away from your score line. Just don’t give up, once you get the hang of the process & how the Kinkajou works you’ll be on your way to creating some pretty cool projects.

The Clipa Review & Giveaway!

I was recently introduced to an awesome company otherwise known as "Clipa, The Instant Handbag Hanger." Unfamiliar with the Clipa brand, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to test out one of their most affordable & best selling Clipa's from their Traveler line! With 6 colors to choose from: metallic, black, orchid, pink, brown or white, I ended up opting for the white Clipa.

Below is a picture of my White Traveler Clipa on my purse. You can match up your hardware to blend your Clipa in or you can mix it up and choose a color to make it stand out. Or even throw it into your bag as a key ring, there's literally so many ways to put your Clipa to work for your needs. Plus I know if your going to be paying a pretty penny for your handbags you don't want to just toss them around. So the Clipa makes it so easy to hang up your bag with out having to get it dirty from setting it on the floor.

The Clipa can hold up to 45 pounds is quick and easy to use. For instance you can leave your Clipa attached to your purse for easy access or even wear as a bracelet. With so many different colors to choose from you can mix and match to your liking.

For my peace sign photo below, I'm rocking my Clipa as a bracelet. Which is pretty cool because if you mix your Clipa with multiple bracelets it will blend into your outfit.

Also the Clipa comes in a variety of styles and price ranges. For example, the photo below is of a Silver Swarovski Clipa that I fell in love with & want to add to my new Clipa collection!
